Young Farmer Seeking Housing March 2020
Are you looking to make extra income next season by renting to a beginning farmer? I am Susanna, the urban agriculture manager at Elijah's Promise in New Brunswick, NJ. I grow vegetables for our Community Soup Kitchen, Culinary School, and healthy kids cooking classes, as well as coordinate our community garden. I need to move into a new place by March 1, 2020, and I'm looking to my NOFA community to see if anyone has a space available. I have lived in a variety of settings including a tiny house in Vermont, a 10-person co-op in Brooklyn, and with a family with young kids. I'm a musician, ultimate frisbee player, baker, graphic designer, facilitator and anti-racist activist/educator. I'm easy-going, tidy, and I am a thoughtful and direct communicator. I can pay between $600 and $800 in rent monthly. I'm open to trade/barter components of a housing agreement. Send me an email if you might have a spot! Reach out sooner rather than later-- I will be out of the country in Jan/Feb and hope to get my housing squared away before the last minute. Cheers!
