Support your family’s health, your local farmer, your local community and reduce your carbon footprint by joining one of our region’s many CSAs. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members form a community that supports their local farm in return for a steady supply of farm-grown products. Each CSA is different, ranging from ones with drop-off services to those allowing complete freedom of choice to decide what is in your bag each week. Some include off-season shares or products other than produce.
To find a CSA near you, check-out NOFA-NJ’s online Farm and Food Guide and search for a CSA by county. If you are a returning CSA member, sign-up now so your farmer can plan their 2019 crops. If you are a previous CSA member, please return. CSAs have listened to members’ feedback over the years and have continued to improve their services. A nationwide CSA database, searchable by region, is also available at the Local Harvest website.
