Tired of sharing the fruits & vegetables of your labor with the critters? This hands-on workshop will give you basic fencing skills which can be applied to your own garden. Materials, heights, depths and installation tools will be covered, all while building an actual garden fence. We will use both wooden and metal materials so attendees can choose what’s best for themselves. We will pay particular attention to building strong corners and gates.
Workshop Leader Al Johnson has been farming and gardening for decades and has installed fencing for a variety of gardens, yards and farm crop and livestock fields. Host Sonya Harris is the Founder and Director of The Bullock Garden Project, Inc., which serves to create, inspire, assist, and support schools to implement gardening programs.
Admission: $40 Members/$50 Non-Members; email nofainfo@nofanj.org for more information
