The screening of Wasted! directed by Anna Chai and Nari Kye, is a special event of the Princeton Environmental Film Festival; sponsored by the Princeton Public Library. Wasted! The Story of Food Waste aims to change the way people purchase, prepare, recycle and eat food. With insights from chef-heroes, Anthony Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mark Bittman, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien, audiences will see how these chefs make the most out of every kind of food to create a more secure food system. This important film explores the criminality of food waste and how it is contributing to climate change.  It also shows us how we can make simple changes to solve one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century. Following the film will be a panel discussion including Karla Cook, Princeton Studies Food, Jon McConaughy, Owner, Brick Farm Group, Adrian Hyde, Executive Director, NOFA-NJ and the Mayor of Princeton, Liz Lempert.
