The Suppers Program, NOFA-NJ, and Gravity Hill Farm present a series of workshops on food and nutrition, including a hands-on cooking demo, to help our communities develop a better understanding of their bodies’ relationship with food, and expand the ways in which we can prepare the foods we get from our gardens and organic farms. Learn how dietary choices can help manage or prevent diabetes. This workshop does not prescribe food choices; rather, it supports experimentation to identify which foods are most supportive to the individual. Visit the Suppers Program website to read this story about one Suppers member’s experience with diabetes. Please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any specific dietary restrictions. Pre-registration is REQUIRED as we will be purchasing food ingredients for the class.
