  • September 20th Climate Adaptation Using Growing Degree Days (Part Two): Gabe Siciliano will share a practical application to New Jersey crops.
  • October 18th: Sherry Dudas and Jim Kinsel of Honey Brook Organic Farm will share a demonstration pilot for composting of manure, wood chips and leaves on a certified-organic produce farm via Aerated Static Pile (ASP) composting. (Please Register for this in person event)

Monthly Cooking Class (Second Thursday from 6-7:15 PM) NOFA-NJ, The Suppers Program, and Jammin’ Crepes are working together to offer a Cooking class which celebrates the NJ Organic CSA and seven NJ farms who have a CSA program. Every second Thursday of the month, Tony Kennette will introduce you to another NJ Organic farm, and Kim Rizk of Jammin’ Crepes will cook from the farms CSA box. There is a charge for this event, it is $60 for the whole series or $15/class for members. Proceeds to be shared between NOFA-NJ and Suppers.
