Lisa Feiner, MBA, M.Ed. and Holistic Life Coach, is co-founder and Chair of Sharp Again Naturally. After receiving her MBA from Columbia Business School in 1981, Lisa worked in corporate human resources and consulting. She obtained her M.Ed. in Counseling while raising her two daughters, and during a 3-year stint in London she began exploring alternative therapies. She attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and became a certified health coach in 2002. Over the last 14 years, Lisa has worked with clients suffering with a range of issues (including MS, fibromyalgia, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis), all of whom have been helped through better nutrition and a healthier lifestyle. Lisa speaks on a variety of topics in academic, community, and business settings. For over 25 years, Lisa has been a volunteer and board member of The New Jewish Home. She spearheaded adoption of the Green House approach which is converting part of Jewish Home’s Sarah Neuman facility into patient-centered Small Houses. As “Sage” for the first Small House, Lisa maintains regular contact with elders (including those with Alzheimer’s disease) and their families; this contributes to her ongoing appreciation not only of the complexity of the health care system and the regulatory environment, but also the practical issues involved in caring for people as they age.
