Certified Organic vegetable farm in Cream Ridge, NJ is seeking new members for our farmers market crew! The ideal candidate is an upbeat and punctual person who enjoys the outdoors (in all weather conditions) and connecting with customers about local food. We raise over 100 different varieties of veggies and melons during the season and we are proud to bring them to our local markets.
Duties include loading/offloading truck at the farm, setting up farmers market stand, assisting customers and breaking stand down. Should be able to lift 40 lbs comfortably, function in a fast paced environment and be on your feet most of the day. This is a job which can be very fulfilling by offering a look into small scale farming and the local food system while serving the local community. Currently looking for help 3 days a week (includes weekends and early start times) but more hours available for the right person. Competitive pay includes CSA share.
