Packing & Delivery Specialist

Job Description:
The position has two main roles; packing our CSA boxes in our temperature-controlled packing shed during the first shift (10am-2:30pm), then delivering the produce boxes to our members’ homes during the second half of the day (3-7pm). Employment will start first week of May.
Every day is an opportunity to learn under both the Farm and Field Managers about organic vegetable production. Additional employment opportunities to assist in fieldwork or work weekend farmers markets will be available. All employees receive a 25% discount on produce.
Hours are 10am-7pm, Monday-Wednesday, Friday. $12/hr. Valid driver’s license required. As well as, consistent availability from May 1st-Thanksgiving week.
Company Description:
Fairgrown Farm is an 8-acre organic practice farm that grows seasonal produce for the surrounding community of Hopewell, New Jersey. Along with our CSA delivery program, we sell to many restaurants in and around Hopewell, and host the Hopewell Farmers Market.
