An important part for any grower is understanding the insects that are in our garden, whether they are pests or beneficials. This talk is geared towards farmers or avid home gardeners wishing to gain a deeper understanding of the biology of the insects in our gardens, which is essential information for responsible organic control of pests. Pennypack Farm’s Assistant Farm Manager, Steph will discuss topics such as basic insect anatomy and life cycle, beneficial insects, organic spray controls, and other tools for growers to use to monitor insect pests
