We are expanding! With the purchase of our new property in 2021 we are gearing up for an incredible 2023! With 20,000 more square feet in high tunnel production we are expanding our Winter green production, Summer green production, microgreen production and tomato production.
We currently grow on 3 acres, and are expanding to grow on 5. We specialize in year round growing and specialty greens. We are looking for 2 full time year round employees. Part time work starts in December and changes to full time in mid-late March.
Minimum one year on a production farm is required for all applicants.
During the main farmer’s market season the schedule is: Monday-Friday with the ability to fill in at weekend farmers markets once or twice a month. Work days are usually 8 hours long, and there are weekend chores from time to time as needed. During the height of the season, extra hours/days are available.
We are looking for the right person who has a drive and passion for farming, can take constructive criticism, aims to work efficiently as well as get those around them motivated to work efficiently, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn! Ability to work at a fast pace and lift 50 lbs to chest level is required.
Pay starting at $16/hour, and increasing once systems are learned.
Farm tasks consist of: working together with the rest of the crew to harvest, wash/pack, weed, prepare beds, start seeds, and more.
