Jim Kotcon is Associate Professor of Plant Pathology at West Virginia University, where he has served on the faculty for over thirty years. Dr. Kotcon has a PhD in Plant Pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Kotcon has coordinated the Organic Research Farm project since 1999. He conducts research on a range of horticultural and agronomic crops, including long-term trials on soil fertility, and organic pest management. He is also the lead investigator on a 4-year, multi-state research project on organic sheep management.
