Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Floral Grower and Floral Arrangement Specialist to join our team. This role blends hands-on flower cultivation with floral design, ideal for someone passionate about horticulture and creative design.

Key Responsibilities

Floral Grower
• Plan, plant, and maintain seasonal blooms (seeding, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, pest control).
• Monitor plant health and ensure optimal growing conditions.
• Harvest flowers at peak quality and longevity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sustainable growing environment.

Floral Arrangement
• Design and create floral arrangements for events, retail, and special orders.
• Work with clients to customize arrangements based on their needs.
• Stay current with floral design trends.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and an organized design workspace.

Other Duties
• Assist with inventory management (ordering and tracking supplies).
• Participate in farm events, workshops, and customer interactions.
• Follow safety and sustainability practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture, floriculture, or related fields (formal education in horticulture or floral design is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of plant care, propagation, and pest management.
  • Proven floral design skills (portfolio preferred).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
