Membership coordinator for our large Community Supported Agriculture Program. Must be computer proficient (Mac experience a plus), mature, reliable and friendly. Duties include maintaining and improving membership database, communicating with members and potential members via iContact group email program, answering phones and customer service. Membership Coordinator Job Description • Handle customer and potential customer inquiries and complaints via phone and email communication and well as general inquiries • Manage the membership and mailing lists for our CSA program, including the weekly printing of the farm membership lists and annual printing and distribution of membership cards • Work with Box Share Coordinator and Logistics manager to determine potentially viable Boxed Share site locations • Manage the organization of the Box Share host site information boxes, including preparing host forms, driver box counts and member sign-in sheets and coordinating with field manager, logistics coordinator and distribution manager the packing of the correct number and size of boxes • Track weekly cancellations and refund requests as well as on-farm membership sales via cash, check and internet sales • In collaboration with Sherry Dudas, appear as the farm’s spokeperson for media, membership recruitment and other events • Assist farm managers in developing more efficient office processes • Order supplies used for the office management of the box packing program and farm’s CSA program Key Competencies for all tasks • communication skills • planning and organizing • work and time management • information gathering and monitoring • ability to work independently • detail-oriented • competency with Word, database programs such as FileMakerPro (the database we use) and Excel Benefits: One “Individual” sized share of produce from our farm’s CSA, and accrued sick time pay.
