Join NOFA NJ and collaborating farms and partners in Asbury Park for our second annual MushroomFest!
Whether you’re an advanced mycologist or an entry-level mushroom enthusiast, our network of mushroom professionals are eager to share their knowledge in a day dedicated to FUNgus! Expect cooking demos and tastings, shiitake log inoculation, take home grow kits, advanced technical processes, lab and grow designs, therapeutic regulation AND MORE!
Pack a lunch or pick up something at one of Asbury Park’s amazing eateries. Our classes will take place at 3 locations in town, so wear your comfy walking shoes.
- Location 1 is at Over The Moon Art Studio on Springwood Ave (conveniently located across the street from a pay parking lot).
- Location 2 is at the Asbury Park Book Coop on Cookman Ave.
- Location 3 is at Kula Urban Farm on Atkins Ave.
AFTER the day is done there is a ticketed dinner with Chef Collins back at Kula (for tickets visit: https://www.chefcollinsevents.com/) The rest of us will gather at Wild Air Beerworks to keep the connecting and FUNg times going!
Tickets: $50 for NOFA NJ Members and NJ Mycological Association Members; $60 for non-Members
